Setting sail with DECKEE

Today we have launched a partnership with DECKEE. This partnership allows our boating community to access real-time, personalised boating safety information.

DECKEE is a boating safety app. It aims to help everyone enjoy their time on the water safely.

Many boaties already use the DECKEE app:

as their trusted source for local boating safety information
to plan and record their trips.

The app will support South Australian boaties to:

access information on safety alerts and rules specific to their location
understand and comply with the current regulations
access all information they need in the one spot, right in the palm of their hand

South Australian users can set up a personal profile to:

let family or friends know where they are going
get personalised safety equipment checklists and expiry reminders
see the latest weather forecasts
check live web cameras across SA coastal locations
explore detailed boating maps with points of interest and habitat protection zones, including restricted areas, speed restrictions, and port and harbor boundaries
report an incident
view an automatic logbook of adventures
get important safety and information alerts while out on the water
easily access key information on the Marine Safety SA website.

The DECKEE app is available on iOS and Android.
