Notice to Mariners No. 65 of 2026 (Temporary)

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – ST VINCENT GULF – DEFENCE RANGE ACTIVITIES

Mariners are advised that the Department of Defence will be conducting range activities, including live firing, at the Port Wakefield Proof Range on Monday 21 September 2026 and Friday 25 September 2026, between 8:00am and 4:00pm.

Noise levels are expected to be high, and residents may experience audible noise and vibrations during these activities.

Prohibited area is bounded by following coordinates

1. 34°25' 01"S 138°15' 03"E
2. 34°26' 23"S 138°13' 40"E
3. 34°26' 27"S 138°12' 48"E
4. 34°24' 42"S 138°10' 21"E
5. 34°16' 10"S 138°10' 38"E

Please note that the Prohibited Area remains active at all times and unauthorised persons or vessels must not enter these areas.
