Notice to Mariners No. 66 of 2025 (Temporary)

SOUTH AUSTRALIA - GULF ST VINCENT AND SPENCER GULF – BEACON REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT AT WALLAROO, MACDONNELL SOUND AND PORT LINCOLN

Mariners are advised that construction works are currently taking place at the Wallaroo, Port Lincoln, and MacDonnell Sound beacons.

The existing beacons will be removed, and the supporting tripods dismantled. New beacons will be installed in close proximity to the original locations or replaced by virtual beacon details list below. In addition to the beacon replacements, new top structures and navigation lights will also be installed at beacons listed below.

This work will take place from the 17 October 2025 to 12 December 2025.
