Notice to Mariners No. 60 of 2025 (Temporary)

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – O’SULLIVAN BEACH SHELLFISH REEF – RESEARCH EQUIPMENT DEPLOYED

Mariners are advised that research equipment will be deployed off O’Sullivan Beach from September 2025 for approximately 3 years.

The equipment will be 2.0m long by 1.5m wide, with 2 horizontal solar panels and a 1.3m high pole painted bright yellow fitted with yellow flashing light.

Light Characteristics: Yellow FI Y (3) 30s

Location:

35° 7' 44.38"S 138° 27' 41.81"E

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution when transiting the area.
