SOUTH AUSTRALIA – SAGRN SCHEDULED OUTAGE NOTIFICATION
Mariners are advised that there will be several outages affecting the Emergency Marine Radio Network (VHF Ch 16 and Ch 67) on Tuesday 05th October and Wednesday 06th October 2021.
Loss of Maritime Voice and HF Radio service at the sites listed below for up to 15 minutes during the outage period specified below.
The details of the outages are as follows:
Hazard window 10:00hrs-15:00hrs all sites listed below, some services may not be available.
Outage Tuesday 05th October 10:00-14:00hrs: Salt Creek, Robe, Victor Harbor and Metropolitan Adelaide.
Outage Wednesday 06th October 10:00-13:00hrs: York Peninsula and Far West Coast to Port Lincoln.
Outage Wednesday 06th October 10:00-15:00hrs: affecting HF frequency’s York Peninsula, Metropolitan Adelaide and Far West Coast to Port Lincoln.
Mariners are advised to consider alternate means of communication and navigate with caution in the area.
