Notice to Mariners No. 33 of 2020

HARBORS AND NAVIGATION ACT 1993
Mariners are advised that six new Anchorages have been established in the Approaches to Port Adelaide in approximately 19m of water as referred to Lowest Astronomical Tide. The existing Anchorage as referred to in previous Notice No. 34 of 2006 at 34° 48’ 13.71” S, 138° 19’ 35.71” E will be discontinued.
The six new anchorages are located approximately 3.5 nautical miles west of the Entrance Beacon in the following WGS 84 positions:

Mariners are advised to contact Adelaide VTS on Channel 12 for which Anchorage to use.
A multi-beam hydrographic survey over the obstruction referred to in previous Notice No. 29 of 2016 at 34° 48.62’S, 138° 18.07’E has revealed no evidence of this obstruction.
