HARBORS AND NAVIGATION ACT 1993

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – RIVER MURRAY – LOCK 6 AT MURTHO – NAVIGATION RESTRICTIONS

Mariners are advised that Lock 6 at Murtho in South Australia will have restricted navigation from 24 March 2020 in compliance with the State and Federal Governments instruction to close the borders to South Australia.

Vessels will be required to contact Lock 6 if navigation is essential during this time of restricted border access, to seek approval for navigational use.

Note that Lock 9 at Cullulleraine will also have navigation restricted for the same duration.
