Notice to Mariners No. 3 of 2020
SOUTH AUSTRALIA – RIVER MURRAY – LOXTON AND RENMARK – INSTREAM WOODY HABITATS
The Department for Environment and Water will carry out further installation of submerged woody structures in the River Murray from 1 February 2020 to facilitate a pilot study for instream woody habitat at the following locations:
Overland Corner near 425 km | 34° 09’ 15.4”S 140° 19’ 55.9”E |

Overland Corner near 427 km | 34° 10’ 11.5”S 140° 21’ 06.5”E |
Bookpurnong near 505 km | 34° 21’ 56.0”S 140° 35’ 40.2”E |
Loxton near 487 km | 34° 27’ 00.4”S 140° 33’ 03.5”E 34° 27’ 06.2”S 140° 32’ 50.3”E |
Paringa Paddock near 562 km | 34° 11’ 21.1”S 140° 45’ 36.0”E |
Renmark South near 560 km | 34° 14’ 38.0”S 140° 42’ 52.7”E |
The structures, where submerged but covered by less than 2 metres of depth at normal pool level will be marked with a yellow snag buoy.
