Notice to Mariners No. 58 of 2024 (Temporary)

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – ST VINCENT GULF – NORTH HAVEN – WEST BEACH – DREDGING OPERATIONS

Mariners are advised that a dredge will be operating south of North Haven southern breakwater and Marina entrance starting 2 October 2024 and ending mid-November.

Two temporary barge moorings with floating lines will be installed at the locations below.

Locations:

Anchor 1 - 34°48'04.9"S 138°28'53.6"E

Anchor 2 - 34°48'00.9"S 138°28'59.5"E

It is recommended mariners stay 500m clear of the mooring buoys at the above locations

Barges and tug operations will operate from North Haven to West Beach throughout this period placing sand at West Beach nearshore areas

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the area.
