Notice to Mariners No. 22 of 2024 (Temporary)

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – RIVER MURRAY– NARRUNG – FERRY CABLE DEPTHS

Mariners are advised that tension of the Narrung cables have been adjusted to improve opening times in extreme weather. Cable depths have been changed to a maximum depth is 1.18 m.

If vessels with draughts greater than cable depth need to traverse, please contact the Narrung Ferry on 0458 740 028. A minimum 1-week notice needs to be given to allow time to increase the cable depth.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution when transiting the area.
