Notice to Mariners No. 10 of 2024

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – RIVER MURRAY – KINGSTON ON MURRAY – NEW NAVIGATION BEACONS

Mariners are advised that the following new lit navigation beacons have been installed on the River Murray at Kingston-on-Murray to mark the navigation channel under the Sturt Highway bridge. All lights have a range of 2 nautical miles.

Upstream port – 34° 13’ 48.03”S, 140° 22’ 02.38”E – Fl R 4s
Upstream starboard – 34° 13’ 48.54”S, 140° 22’ 01.27”E – Fl G 4s
Downstream port – 34° 13’ 46.22”S, 140° 22’ 01.32”E – Fl R 4s
Downstream starboard – 34° 13’ 46.53”S, 140° 22’ 00.25”E – Fl G 4s

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the area.
