Notice to Mariners No. 55 of 2023 (Temporary)

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – RIVER MURRAY – LOWERING OF WEIR POOL LEVELS – LOCK 6 (MURTHO)

Mariners are advised that the Department for Environment and Water will be lowering water levels at Lock 6 (Murtho) in the Riverland from early October to mid-December by 16cm.

Normal pool level is 19.25m AHD, lowering to 19.09m AHD

Vessel operators should proceed with caution in the area described above due to the increased risk of submerged hazards.
