HARBORS AND NAVIGATION ACT 1993

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – PORT RIVER- RESEARCH BUOYS

Mariners are advised that a 1.5 metre long by 1.2 metre rectangular floating research structure will be located in the Port Adelaide Harbor at these approximate positions:

· 34° 50’ 43.0” S, 138° 29’ 50.0” E.
· 34° 50’ 56.5” S, 138° 29’ 50.8” E.

The structure has a 1.2m pole painted yellow and a yellow flashing light Fl Y 5s, range 1.5 nautical miles.

The research buoy will be deployed for approximately 3 years.

Mooring to this structure is prohibited and mariners should avoid anchoring in this area.
