HARBORS AND NAVIGATION ACT 1993

SOUTH AUSTRALIA - COWELL – FRANKLIN HARBOR – NAVIGATION LIGHTS NOT WORKING

Mariners are advised that the following navigation lights in Franklin Harbor near Cowell are not working:

Beacon No. 15 in position 33° 42’ 11.14”S 136° 57’ 11.58”E, front lead, F Bu
Beacon No. 16 in position 33° 42’ 28.72”S 136° 57’ 18.04”E, port beacon, Fl R 4s
Beacon No. 18 in position 33° 41’ 46.59”S 136° 56’ 39.58”E, port beacon, Fl R 2s

New lights will be installed as soon as possible, likely by early July 2023.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the area.
